Refund Policy
This is a courtesy translation. The Dutch version is the legally binding version.
1. Applicability
This Refund Policy applies to all tickets purchased via the Grupetti platform (grupetti.cc and the Grupetti app). Grupetti facilitates ticket sales on behalf of the organizing Club. The purchase contract is between the buyer (Participant) and the organizing Club. Grupetti does not organize and is not a party to the Event.
2. Right of withdrawal (cooling-off period)
Under Article 6:230p(1)(e) of the Dutch Civil Code, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to Event tickets. These are tickets for leisure activities on a specific date or within a specific period.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal does not apply to this Event ticket.
3. Organizer's refund policy
Each Club (organizer) may establish its own refund policy for its Events. This policy is displayed — if available — on the event page before purchase. Always check the refund policy for the specific Event before purchasing a ticket.
4. Grupetti default policy
When the organizing Club has not established its own refund policy, the following Grupetti default policy applies:

5. Costs upon refund

Stripe processing fees (typically ~1.4% + €0.25 per transaction) are retained by Stripe and are non-refundable. This is a limitation of Stripe, not Grupetti.
6. Procedure
To request a refund:
- Contact the organizing Club via the contact details on the event page or through the Platform.
- The Club decides on the refund based on their own policy or Grupetti's default policy.
- Upon approval, Grupetti processes the refund via Stripe.
- The refunded amount will appear on your account within 5-10 business days after approval.
7. Payment disputes (chargebacks)
If you file a payment dispute (chargeback) with your bank or credit card company instead of following the refund process:
- Stripe will handle the dispute on behalf of the organizing Club.
- A chargeback incurs additional costs for the Club and may cause delays.
- We request that you contact the Club and/or Grupetti before filing a chargeback.
8. Dispute contact
In case of a refund dispute:
- Contact the organizing Club.
- If no resolution is reached: contact Grupetti at hello@grupetti.cc.
- We will mediate between you and the organizer.
- The final decision on refunds lies with the organizing Club, unless the Event was cancelled by the organizer (in which case a full refund is mandatory).
9. Exceptions
This policy does not apply to:
- Free Events (no payment, no refund)
- No-shows (failure to attend without prior cancellation)
- Tickets purchased in violation of the Terms of Service (e.g., through automated purchasing)
